Because of this, it is also the most anticipated and closely watched category in the entire series.
Before releasing the official results, we believe it is important to share the context behind how this list was formed.
Why This Category Matters More Than Any Other
Wedding planners are not just coordinators of schedules and suppliers. They are problem solvers, organizers, mediators, and support systems. Their work often begins months, sometimes years, before a wedding day, and their success is measured by how seamless everything feels when the day finally arrives.
When a wedding looks effortless, it is almost always because a planner and their team prepared for every possible scenario.
Because planners work closely with nearly every supplier category, they are also seen from many perspectives. Fellow suppliers witness how planners communicate, manage pressure, respect partners, and protect the couple’s experience. This makes peer feedback especially meaningful.
For this reason, CWES treated this category with particular care.
Who Participated in the Voting
The voting for the Top 10 Wedding Planners and Coordinators in Cebu for 2025 was conducted among recognized CWES awardees and category winners from across the wedding industry.
These respondents are not casual voters. They are professionals who actively shape weddings in Cebu and regularly work alongside planners on real events. Being winners in their own categories, they understand the realities of coordination, timelines, pressure, and supplier collaboration.

Because the respondents themselves are respected leaders in their fields, the results reflect industry trust, not popularity voting.
How the Scoring Worked
To ensure fairness, clarity, and balance, the voting process focused on two types of input:
1. #1 Choice Votes (3 points each)
Each respondent selected one planner they considered the best representation of Cebu wedding planning in 2025.
Because this reflects the strongest form of endorsement, each #1 vote was assigned 3 points.
2. Top 10 Mentions (1 point each)
Respondents could also list up to ten planners they trust and recommend.
Each mention counted as 1 point, representing broad recognition and consistent industry presence.
Final Scoring Formula
Total Score = (#1 Votes × 3) + (Top 10 Mentions × 1)
This system ensures that strong preference is rewarded while also recognizing planners who have earned consistent trust across the industry.
What the Votes Revealed
Before revealing the official planner names, we are sharing the actual scoring results with identities intentionally replaced by rank placeholders. This allows readers to understand how competitive this category truly was, while keeping the final reveal exclusive to the official results release.
How Competitive This Category Was
In total, more than 30 wedding planners and coordinators were nominated and received votes during the process. These included established names, rising teams, and consistently recommended planners within the Cebu wedding industry.
Only the ten planners with the highest combined scores based on #1 choice votes and overall mentions earned a place in the final Top 10. Securing a spot required sustained trust, repeated endorsement, and strong peer confidence across multiple supplier categories.
The data below reflects the final ranking order, based purely on peer-based scoring without yet attaching the planner names.

Across all written remarks submitted in the voting form, several qualities were mentioned repeatedly:
